PART 1/3 - Setup your Django environment with phpMyAdmin. Easy step by step guide for you to follow and setup Django (CMS) for Python 3.x on Raspberry Pi Linux (Raspbian). Built on a LAMPstack (Linux, Apache, MariaDB, Python) - Linux stands for the OS on which Django will run, here we use Raspbian, a debian build for Raspberry Pi. Apache is used as the web server. MariaDB is supplemented as the Relational Database Management System to store bigger sets of data as compared to MongoDB. Python 3.x is chosen as the programming language. TO read more about each of the technologies involved and then follow the written step-by-step tutorial article, visit this link below - 🤍
Implementation of a home automation system based on the NETCONF protocol was divided into two parts: server-side and client-side. To build a server, Linux has to be a boot on Raspberry Pi. After this step, Netopeer2, a set of tools implementing network configuration based on the NETCONF protocol and Sysrepo, YANG-based datastore engine for storing YANG configuration are installed. By combining Django and ncclient, a powerful user-friendly web application is created, and it will fulfill its main purpose – to collect all information about the conditions such as temperature, door status in the rooms of the user’s home and to control devices in the rooms of the user’s home, all of it over the NETCONF protocol. Check out the paper: 🤍 If you have any questions about the source code, write them in the questions. Maybe the next video will show the implementation of this system. Subscribe, share and like!

Ex-Google Tech Lead Patrick Shyu talks about scalability, and how he grew a website to handle 10 million users (per month). I cover load balancing, content delivery networks, mysql query optimization, database master/slave replication, horizontal/vertical sharding, and more. * Note, these experiences were from projects before I began working at Google, so I'm talking about my individual experiences (Google uses a ton more techniques, though the basic concepts are similar). I'm sure I missed some things, so please share in the comments below if you have thoughts on how to scale! I'd love to hear.
